Zazie Olivia Beetz was born Berlin in 1991. Her father is an German cabinet maker who emigrated to the United States in 1990 after the falling of the Berlin Wall, and her mother is a South African-American social worker from New York. Jennifer Aniston attended the same high-school as Beetz. Beetz went on to study French at Skidmore College after graduating LaGuardia. After graduation, she began auditioning for roles. college and landed the role of Van in Atlanta. Beetz, who was born in Berlin and grew up with the father of a German American and an African American mother living in New York, spoke both German and English in her home. Zazie was performing on local and community stage in her early days. When she was in grade school she began acting and went on to become a professional actress. Zendaya began her vegetarian journey aged 11 when she came across a slaughterhouse during the road with her father. PEOPLE reported that she said: "It seemed awful to me when I saw all the animals crammed into the slaughterhouse waiting to die their death. "I would never believed it was how I'd taken my meat!" The woman has since adhered to an all-vegan diet.
