Katherine Heigl reveals her childhood in a white bubble, and how this realization affected the way she cared for her adoptive, multiracial kids. She was in the movie "Firefly Lane" told the media that it did not matter what color her skin was to her. However, after meeting her Korean-American adopted sister she realized the difference in the way people took care of her. I asked Meg whether, while she was out with her parents she received a certain treatment while out on her own she got a completely different treatment. Meg replied: "Oh Sure, I've witnessed everything and I've been there all the time! Heigl explained to Parents: "That was when I discovered how naive I resulted in me feeling." According to the actor, she became angered. However, she wanted to channel that anger towards helping the girls she adopted. Heigl as well as her husband of 13 years -- singer Josh Kelley -- have a 4-year-old son together, Joshua Bishop Kelley, Jr. In 2009, they adopted Nancy Leigh (12), an adopted daughter of South Korea, and Adalaide (8 the black child) in the year 2012.
